We’re delighted to be able to release the first app for Air – our integration of Slack; a real-time messaging platform used by millions of people. Slack was the most voted for in our app directory (head over and help us decide on what we build next!).
One of the benefits of having all your people data in Air is that you get notifications for all the key company dates like people’s birthdays, work anniversaries and time off requests. With this integration of Slack, these notifications will now show up in your team chat channel so you’re always on top of what’s happening.

There’s lots more to come from our Slack integration. In the future we’ll add the ability to look up employee information, book time off, check your holiday allowance, get HR help, and more – all from Slack. We’re looking forward to making the @air Slack bot your simple, intelligent HR assistant.
